The Western New York Kidney Connection will host its second
annual fundraiser, Dolly & Me Christmas
Tea, on Saturday, November 23 at 11 am at Salvatore’s Italian Garden’s on
Transit Road in Depew.
Mothers, grandmothers, and aunts, are invited to escort
young ladies to a sit-down holiday luncheon with refreshments and
entertainment. The girls and their dolls will meet and have their pictures
taken with “live” historical dolls.
The event will also include a Beauty Spa with Hair Styling
and Manicures (small fee for each), Doll
Clothing Boutique, Festive Beverage Station, Basket Raffles, including American Girl Doll craft kits, American
Girl Doll Raffle, (value $110), and Custom-made Doll Seats.

The cost is $45 per adult and $32 per child, age 12 and under.
All proceeds benefit the Western New York Kidney Connection,
a 501c3 non-profit organization which operates a free website, www.WNYKidneyConnection.org,
for communication between potential living kidney donors and persons on the
Buffalo Kidney Transplant Waiting List.
To date, the WNY Kidney Connection has introduced eleven
donors and recipients who have gone on to receive successful kidney transplants.
The organization’s mission is to save lives, one connection at a time.
