McGuire Group Announces Bereavement Support Summer Series

WEST SENECA - The McGuire Group’s Seneca Health Care Center, 2987 Seneca Street, is hosting a free Bereavement/Support Summer Series for anyone coping with grief, sadness or loss. The first session begins Monday, June 17 at 5 pm with the topic Grief and Self-Care. You do not need to attend every session. Others will follow with Wednesday, July 10 at 5 pm Say Their Names (the healing power of reminiscing) and Wednesday, August 14 at 5 pm Five Common Questions Grievers Ask.

The bereavement/support groups are hosted by experts from The McGuire Group who understand the feelings caused by loss.

The McGuire Group health care facilities, including Seneca Health Care Center in West Seneca has recently introduced Journeys palliative care programs at their Erie County facilities. The program is designed to meet the needs, priorities and choices of individuals in the final stages of life. The Journeys programs recognize patient individuality and fulfill wishes as they relate to comfort, care and treatments.
