No Bones About It: What Every Woman Needs To Know About Osteoporosis

Did you know that 1 in 4 women will develop osteoporosis at some point in their life? Symptoms of osteoporosis - including bone loss and broken bones - are more prevalent after age 60, but younger women should know their risk factors, and protect themselves against the disease.

To find out if you're at risk, or if you or a loved one are managing bone loss, join Catholic Health for a FREE seminar with the experts: No Bones About It: What Every Woman Needs To Know About Osteoporosis.

Dr. Jennifer Teeter, Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician and Dr. Sara Koritz, OBGYN will take a closer look at osteoporosis and what you can do to keep your bones strong, healthy and intact. Kim DeAngelis, Occupational Therapist will review the latest home-modification equipment and techniques to help minimize your risk of falling and breaking a bone. Plus - a limited number of FREE bone density screenings will be available during the seminar, by appointment only.

·         When: Wednesday, June 19, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
·         Where: Creekside Banquets in Cheektowaga
