Dr. Sobhana Narayanan, board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, is joining the Brain and Spine Center, InvisionHealth on February 24, 2014. She will be treating patients at three InvisionHealth locations to include Williamsville, Derby and Niagara Falls.
A graduate of Trivandrum Medical College in India, Dr. Narayanan completed her Residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Strong Memorial Hospital, University of Rochester School of Medicine, Rochester, NY.
Recently, Dr. Narayanan held the position of Senior Instructor and Physician in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, University of Rochester School of Medicine. Prior to that, she worked at Kaleida Health System in Buffalo, NY and was the Medical Director of the Rehabilitation unit at DeGraff Memorial Hospital in Buffalo, NY.
Dr. Narayanan has more than a decade of experience in performing electrodiagnostic studies such as EMG and nerve conduction studies, as well as management of most rehabilitation problems including stroke, musculoskeletal injuries, spinal cord and other neuromuscular disorders, joint disorders, automobile and work-related injuries.

Chetan Malik, MD, Specializing in Interventional Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Joins the Brain and Spine Center
Dr. Chetan Malik, a board certified physician in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, will join the Brain and Spine Center, a division of Invision Health, in May of 2013. Dr. Malik’s office will be located at 400 International Drive in Williamsville, NY.
As a member of the Invision Health medical staff, Dr. Malik will be treating patients utilizing interventional pain management techniques to treat conditions including, but not limited to: acute pain; cervical, thoracic and lumbar radiculopathy; facet joint and SI joint dysfunction; musculoskeletal sports injuries, automobile and work related injuries. Dr. Malik may prescribe medications, physical therapy and/or interventional techniques such as epidural steroid injections for back pain, trigger point injections for musculoskeletal or myofascial pain, and injections into the joint spaces for joint pain and arthritis treatment.
Dr. Malik holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (1994) and a Master of Surgery in Orthopedics (1998) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. In 2004, Dr. Malik completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Malik served as an attending physician at various hospitals in Buffalo. In 2010, he accepted the position of an assistant professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Rochester, NY where he completed a fellowship in Pain and Anesthesiology. Most recently, Dr. Malik served as an assistant professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, in the division of Spine and Sports at the University of Pittsburgh.

Invision Health Located at the Brain and Spine Center is pleased to announce the addition of Sanford R. Pleskow, MD and Michele Fisher, MS, PA-C
Sanford R. Pleskow, MD has joined the Primary Care medical staff of Invision Health located at the Brain and Spine Center, 400 International Drive in Williamsville. Dr. Pleskow specializes in Internal Medicine and has been in practice for thirty five years. He completed his Medical degree at the SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine. Dr. Pleskow served his residencies at the E.J. Meyer Memorial Medical Hospital, Buffalo General Hospital and the Veterans Administration Hospital where he served as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Pleskow will be working alongside our other Invision Health primary care physicians, Dr. Brian Karaszewski, Internal Medicine and Dr. Jean Marcaisse-Cange, Family Practice.
