Gelia Wins Global Finalist Award for Independent Health Campaign


NEW YORK (December 7, 2012) – Gelia, Western New York’s leading marketing communications agency, received a Global Finalist Award for its creative work on Independent Health’s consumer television advertising campaign at this year’s Global Awards® ceremony in New York on December 6.

Recognized in the medical service category of “Consumer: Video, Audio, Interactive Media - TV / Cinema Commercial”, Gelia and Independent Health was the only U.S.-based partnership honored for developing healthcare insurance advertising.

Gelia worked together with Independent Health to effectively use member-based, compassionate stories to continue to differentiate the insurance company as a healthcare partner. A mix of television, radio and online advertising was used to communicate these personal vignettes.
